Ultimate Truco — Privacy Policy
Ultimate Truco (the “App”), by SFWD Studios, combines on-device storage with optional Apple services. This policy separates what remains on your device, what may sync through your Apple account, and what reaches the studio directly.

While the SFWD Studios legal entity is being incorporated, processing decided directly by the studio, such as email support, is conducted under the SFWD Studios brand in São Paulo, Brazil. Services described as Apple services are operated by Apple under its own terms and settings.
The App does not send usage, match, Apple identity, or progress data to a studio-operated server. We use no third-party advertising, tracking, or analytics and build no advertising profile.
2. Data on the device
To run and save your experience, the App keeps story and completed challenges, stats, achievements, the player-chosen profile name, avatar, visual preferences, and settings on the device. StraightForward Studios does not receive a direct copy of this data.
Some of this content may sync through Apple services as described below. Purchases are excluded from progress-backup mechanisms and are validated through StoreKit.
3. iCloud Key-Value Store sync
When iCloud is available, the App may automatically mirror progress, stats, achievements, profile information, and visual preferences to your personal iCloud Key-Value Store for sync between Apple devices. This operates independently of optional Sign in with Apple.
Apple operates this sync, and it does not pass through a studio-operated server. If iCloud is unavailable, the game continues with local progress.
4. Sign in with Apple and private backup
Sign in with Apple is optional, and the entire game works without signing in. If you choose to sign in, the App requests only your full name; it does not request your email address. It receives a unique Apple user identifier and, when Apple provides it, your name. The identifier and any name received are stored in the device Keychain to maintain the session and display the name.
After sign-in, the identifier also allows the App to locate an account-linked TrucoProfile record in a private CloudKit database. That record may hold a snapshot of progress, stats, achievements, the profile chosen in the game, and visual preferences. The name received at sign-in remains in the Keychain and is not automatically included in that snapshot. StraightForward Studios operates no server and receives no copy of this content in its own infrastructure.
5. Signing out and deleting account data
Signing out removes the active session identifier from this device but keeps the cached name for a future sign-in, local progress, the iCloud Key-Value Store mirror, and the private CloudKit backup.
“Delete account data” removes the Apple identifier and cached name from the Keychain and requests deletion of the linked private CloudKit record. The request is best effort and may depend on network and Apple-service availability. This action does not revoke Sign in with Apple authorization, erase on-device progress, or remove data synchronized separately through iCloud Key-Value Store.
6. Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by the App Store through StoreKit. StraightForward Studios does not receive or store card numbers, bank-account details, or other payment information.
7. Game Center and online matches
Online matches, achievements, and leaderboards use Apple’s Game Center. Your Game Center nickname is visible to your opponent during a match. Chat is limited to preset phrases and emoji, with no free text, and can be muted in Settings.
Apple processes the data required for Game Center under its policy and your account settings.
8. Email support
Sending an email is optional and happens outside the App. When you write to support, we receive your email address, message content, and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to reply, investigate the issue, administer support, protect rights, and meet applicable obligations.
We keep the conversation while needed for support; after that, it is deleted or retained only where a legal obligation, contractual relationship, or the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims justifies the record.
9. Children and teenagers
The App contains no third-party advertising, analytics, tracking, or free-text chat. If a child or teenager uses optional Apple features, access and processing depend on Apple’s age, family, and account rules and should take place with applicable authorization or supervision.
We do not seek to receive children’s data on a studio-operated server. Any processing decided directly by the studio will be limited to what is necessary and must observe the best interests of the child or teenager and applicable law.
10. Apple services
Sign in with Apple, iCloud, CloudKit, the App Store, StoreKit, and Game Center are operated by Apple. Availability, storage, security, retention, account controls, and any international operations connected to those services follow Apple’s settings, terms, and policy.
11. Rights, contact, and changes
Questions or requests about processing decided by the studio can be sent to contact@sfwdstudios.com. We may request the minimum information needed to verify identity. For data held through Apple services, also use the privacy controls and channels for your Apple account.
If the App begins handling data differently, we will update this policy before the change and request consent where it is the appropriate legal ground.
