1. Scope, controller, and version

This policy applies to the current beta version of Ultimate Mahjong for iPhone, published by SFWD STUDIOS LTDA, registered in Brazil under CNPJ 68.097.694/0001-60, in São Paulo, Brazil, under the SFWD Studios brand. It does not apply to the website, Ultimate Truco, or com.partilha.

The App creates no proprietary account and sends no progress to a studio-operated server. When you enable Apple features, processing also follows the relationship between you, Apple, and your account.

2. No ads, tracking, or studio analytics

The current version displays no ads and integrates no advertising SDK, cross-app tracking, studio analytics, or third-party crash-reporting service. SFWD Studios does not sell personal data.

iCloud, Game Center, App Store, and other system services may still process technical and account data to provide a feature you choose, under Apple’s notices and controls. This does not mean the studio receives that data.

3. On-device progress and preferences

The App stores the gameplay profile, career and story state, stage and tutorial progress, current board, statistics, and preferences locally so you can continue the experience. This data does not include an SFWD Studios account.

Removing the App normally removes its local container, subject to system operation and backups. Clearing local data does not automatically clear separate copies held by iCloud, Game Center, or the App Store.

4. Automatic iCloud synchronization

When iCloud is available, the App uses iCloud Key-Value Store to mirror the profile, career, Story progress, and Tutorial progress between devices linked to the same Apple account. Preferences, an in-progress board, and other local states are not part of this mirror.

The copy is associated with your iCloud account and passes through Apple infrastructure; it is not copied to a studio server. If iCloud is unavailable, the game continues locally and may try to sync again when the service returns.

5. Game Center

When Game Center is enabled on the device or account, the App initiates Apple authentication when you enter the menu. You can decline or leave the service unavailable; Game Center is not required to play. Apple processes the player identifier and alias, achievements, leaderboards, and score or time values needed to record results. Other players may see public information according to your Game Center settings.

The App reads the identifier and alias needed for the integration. The alias may be adopted automatically as the local gameplay profile name and, because it becomes part of that profile, mirrored through iCloud Key-Value Store. The identifier is not sent to a studio server, and SFWD Studios does not maintain its own copy of your Apple-account identity.

6. Cosmetic purchases through the App Store

Optional purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple handles the purchasing account, payment, receipt, refund, and restoration. The App receives product identifiers and the verified entitlement state needed to unlock or restore a cosmetic item; purchases provide no gameplay advantage.

SFWD Studios receives no card numbers, bank details, or payment credentials. Purchase and refund controls remain with the App Store and Apple account.

7. Optional local reminder

With your permission, the App may schedule an on-device reminder for seven days later. The feature uses no push server, remote token registration, advertising, or behavioral profile.

You can deny or revoke permission in iOS Settings and control the reminder inside the game.

8. On-device diagnostics and email support

MetricKit may provide performance diagnostics that the App keeps locally to help identify crashes and hangs. They are not sent automatically to SFWD Studios or an analytics service.

If you choose to open a support message, the draft may include App version and build, device model, iOS version, locale, low-power state, save-file sizes — not their contents — and crash or hang counts and dates. You can review and edit the message before sending it. If sent, the studio receives your address, message, and chosen attachments.

9. Purposes and legal grounds

Local state and automatic synchronization when iCloud is available exist to perform game features and preserve progress. Apple services follow the terms and notices applicable to your account and selected feature.

When the studio receives a message directly, it processes what is needed for support and pre-contractual or contractual steps; legitimate interests in security, correction, and product defense, assessed in context; legal obligations; and the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims. Where consent is required, it will be requested specifically.

10. Retention, deletion, and controls

Local data remains until replaced, cleared by the App or system, or removed with the App. The iCloud copy, Game Center achievements and leaderboards, and purchase entitlements follow Apple’s periods and controls.

The App offers no SFWD Studios account deletion because no such account exists. To clear or limit Apple layers, use iCloud, Game Center, and App Store settings. Support messages are kept while needed to reply and then deleted or retained only where an obligation, contractual relationship, or legal claim justifies the record.

11. Security, providers, and international operations

We minimize collection, keep progress primarily on the device, and rely on iOS and Apple-account protections. No method is infallible; protect your device passcode and Apple account and keep the system current.

Apple may process iCloud, Game Center, and App Store data in other countries under its policy and account controls. Email providers may also operate internationally when you send support. SFWD Studios operates no remote Ultimate Mahjong progress database.

12. Children and teenagers

The App is not directed specifically to children, creates no proprietary account, and contains no advertising, tracking, or chat. Apple features follow Apple’s age, family, and account rules and should be used with applicable authorization or supervision.

If we identify a child’s or teenager’s data received directly without an appropriate ground, we will take proportionate steps to delete it, considering best interests and applicable law.

13. Your rights, contact, and changes

Under applicable law, you may request confirmation and access, correction, information about sharing, anonymization, blocking or deletion where applicable, portability within regulatory limits, objection, and other rights under Brazil’s LGPD. We may request only what is needed to verify identity and scope.

For processing decided by the studio, email contact@sfwdstudios.com. For information held by Apple services, also use Apple’s controls and channels. Material changes to this policy will receive a new date and, where needed, an in-App notice.
